Biennale Bregaglia Bondo 2024

2.6.–28.9.2024

The next BIENNALE BREGAGLIA 2024, will take place from 2 June to 28 September 2024. This third edition explores the theme «Architecture and Gardens». After an open dialogue with the local population, the curator chose the Swiss village of Bondo as the main venue for the exhibition. An international selection committee has choosen 10 site-specific projects of national and international artistic positions. Besides Bondo, the entire valley beyond the Swiss border—from Isola (CH) to Chiavenna (IT)—will be included and connected through an interdisciplinary accompanying programme.

Organizer

The association Progetti d’arte in Val Bregaglia was founded in 2012 and is engaged in the promotion and realisation of contemporary art exhibitions, projects and events in Bergell. Until 2018, these art projects were each organised under a new name. From 2020, the art event will be called BIENNALE BREGAGLIA. As before, the social, historical and political structures of the valley are the focal points of the interventions. The association committee elects the curator, who is responsible for the concept, organisation, selection of the artistic positions and realisation.
